Sneak Peek... Girl Friday Spring 2012 collection

Here are some behind the scenes shots of our latest photo shoot for Spring 2012. It was a long and stressful, but really fun day! I want to thank Genevieve Smolders (photographer), Katherine Kates (hair & makeup), Symone Sheane (design assistant), Matthew Kett (videographer/ edito), Vanessa Stone (model- Elmer Olsen Models), and Steve from Light & Hevvy Studio for all of your hard work and cooperation.

Now please keep in mind... these dresses won't be in stores until Spring 2012... it's a long way off, but in the fashion world, we have to work a year in advance.... believe it or not, I'm starting to think about Fall 2012!

Super Sale

Many of our customers already know of the hidden treasures to be unearthed at our College street location. Our Mini-Facelift!

Many of you may have noticed that our Queen Street location got a mini-facelift this week! Our old sign had served us well, and it was time to bring in the new! Our new sign was installed on Monday, and we LOVE it! The colour's and the girl friday logo couldn't look better! It's feminine and classic, and its a great reflection of the beautiful clothes we have inside the store! Stop by and take a peek at our beautiful sign, and be sure to come in to see the great clothes we have for summer!

Who wears short shorts?

The mercury is rising fast! This means it's time to ditch the jeans and trade in for some hot new shorts for summer! We've picked our favourite styles to help you set your legs free!

Tess chose the Dept Dark Iron cotton shorts $79. Tessa loves this pair because the colour makes them easy to dress up or down, you can cuff them or wear them long, and the cotton is super soft and lightweight!

Symone's pick is thie lovely pair of Left on Houston khaki pleated shorts $108. The loose fitting fabric is a super soft blend, perfect for those hot summer days. She also loves the sand neutral colour that will match with anything in your wardrobe and is a refreshing change from black. The simple assymetrical belt detail on these shorts add instant style to your summer outfit!

Kelsey's choice is this amazing pair of Michael Kors black combat shorts $125. As an avid lover of black clothes, these shorts are a great way to incorporate black into your summer wardrobe. The fabric is super lightweight and breathable, so you wont get to hot, and these shorts have the perfect drape to them. They are great with heels for a night out, or sandals and a tee in the daytime.

Rebecca chose the Dish Andi Hudson shorts $76. She loves the look of distressed denim, and in the boyfriend style, its easy to wear and you don't have to worry about your shorts being too short. Faded denim is classic cool, and goes with most of your existing wardrobe!
