What's in the Window this Week!

Sweater: Free People striped knit oversize sweater- $164
Jeggings: Yoga Jeans in blue rinse- $110
Cami: C'est Moi black camisole- $16
Necklace: ZAD Ship Necklace- $20

I love contrasting dimensions in my wardrobe. Nothing pairs better with a super-skinny jean, (which are soooo comfortable by the way) than a cozy, oversized sweater.

Dress: Girl Friday Pauline plaid dress- $145
Cardi: Pure & Simple loop cardigan- $64

This is an homage to "Mad Men". The show has helped bring the classic shapes from the early 60's back to the forefront of fashion. With the Pauline dress, you can give a little nod to times past, while still looking great in the present!

Shirtdress: DEPT plaid shirtdress- $125
Clutch: HOBO Aston wristlet in Rogue- $68

This is a perfect no-fuss top. Throw it on with some leggings, put on your boots and you're out the door ready to face whatever Toronto has in store for you.

What's in the Window this Week!

Coat: Soia & Kyo Cali grey wool coat- $385

Made in Canada by Canadians, Soia & Kyo coats can take you through the harsh winter. The wool is blended to provide more durability and resistance to the elements. Not only will you be able to brave the bitter winter, but you will do it in style with this stunning grey coat. (also available in black)

Dress: Kensie print dress- $68
Shrug: Kensie knit shawl sweater- $68
Necklace: CPAK beads- $26 each

Don't be a wallflower at your holiday parties this year! Wear a dress that will stand out, like this one from Kensie. It's a beautiful purple winter floral and is sure to catch everyone's eye.

Blazer: Girl Friday Carmen blazer- $160
Jeans: Dish Trixie "diamond" wash - $94
Tee: Numph "shy box" print tee
Necklace: ZAD deer necklace- $15

Another classic blazer from our Girl Friday label. The Carmen (also available in brown) is the perfect blazer to dress up your favourite denim, or to throw on with some trousers for the office. We love it paired with the Trixie jean from dish, perhaps the best selling denim in the store. Trixie is a classic straight cut, a great option for those who want the look of a skinny, but don't want to wear jeans that could pass for leggings.

Featured this Week: Sweaters!

It seems like everyone has a cold, or heaven forbid... the flu right now. Dr. Girl Friday's prescription is to have some chicken noodle soup, watch some bad reality TV (The Real Housewives of Atlanta, anyone?) and cozy up in one of our gorgeous sweaters. This is a sure-fire remedy, even if you're not sick!

Kelsey's wearing:
Sweater: Michael Kors black open cardigan- $175
Belt: BRAVE belt- $44

I love the versatility of a sweater like this. Keep it casual and wear it open, or give your outfit some pizzazz and belt it like Kelsey did.

Tessa's wearing:
Sweater: Odd Molly grey knit wrap- $205

Warm, cozy and stylish; the alpaca/wool blend provides so much warmth that Tessa needed to go outside to cool off in style on Queen street. An alternative to a fall jacket!

Dee is wearing:
Sweater Dress: DEPT batwing sweater dress -$110
Belt: Brave piper belt -$44

Perfect with a pair of boots, this is a great way to stay warm and look hot during a cold winter! This sweater dress looks great as is, but becomes more versatile layered with a tank or skinny turtleneck underneath and a pair of leggings or skinny jeans.

Jenn's wearing:
Sweater: Michael Kors double breasted cardigan- $175

Warm, but slim enough to wear under coats. Perfect for layering.
