Soia & Kyo Fall 2012: Down Coats

Soia & Kyo's down coats are in store. Get ready for the upcoming winter season in these stylish, functional and incredibly warm coats. Each coat is water resistant, insulated with the warmest natural down and feathers (80/20 ratio), double lined to keep the feathers in, and has extra warm details like ribbed cuffs and fleece lined pockets. These coats are designed to get you through the coldest winter (they are from Montreal after all), but Soia & Kyo retains their sophisticated lines and stylish details so you can still stand out from the crowd.

Soia & Kyo Fall 2012: Wool coats!

Our Fall 2012 wool coats from Soia & Kyo are in store! Known for their assymetrical and structured collars, wide belts and contrast details, a Soia & Kyo coat is perfect for the modern woman. Girl Friday Fall dresses are in store!

We've received our first selection of our very own Girl Friday dresses. Designed and made in Toronto, by Rebecca Nixon, these dresses are superbly cut, very versatile, and best of all, comfortable! Our dresses are sleek and fuss-free, perfect for work-to-play, day-to-night. The soft jersey fabrics also travel well, so throw in your suitcase for the next time you are jet-setting!

Nice Cardigan!

If you're not a fan of Misfits already, it's a show I highly recommend! Don't let Nathan stop you from strutting your stuff in a 'nice cardigan'. Cardigans are perfect for these cool autumn nights that are approaching us. They are completely versatile, as you can wear them buttoned up or open, and they  make a lovely replacement for a light jacket. We've got some amazing sweaters in store, with our favourite cardies below!

 An extra long cardigan is my favourite kind, they make the perfect Fall jacket. Wear it unbuttoned over skinny jeans and a basic tee, or button up as a sweater dress over a pair of leggings!

Fall 2012 Denim Trends

This season, anything goes with Denim - it's like coffee, you take it exactly as you like it. Instead of everyone adhering to the same style, you can go with what suits you best and carve your own blue path of cotton and Lycra! This Fall we are seeing everything from low-rise skinnies that sit on the hips, to high-rise ultra skinnies which are perfect for tucking in. The bootcut is always a classic, and the Flare is back with a vengeance, to take back some of the skinnie's spotlight. We have some great styles coming in from Montreal's Yoga Jeans, Vancouver's Dish, and a new comer to the denim world from LA, !iT Jeans. We LOVE all three lines, and we believe in them so strongly, we know that you will be able to find your perfect fitting jean with us. The Skinny

Perfect for tucking into your favourite pair of boots, skinny jeans show off your gorgeous gams, and also give a sleeker, leaner silhouette. Skinny's can be worn with over-sized blouses tied at the waist (huge this season!), flowy billowy tops, and cozy, warm sweaters.

The Bootcut

Bootcut's have been held on the sidelines for a while, but don't discount this classic style. Slim throughout the leg, but a nice gentle sweep at the bottom, a bootcut can help balance wider hips, and also give an illusion of a longer leg. Exactly what they say, a bootcut is the perfect jean to wear over top of your favourite heeled boots.

The Flare

Do you dare to flare? Flares can be ultra sexy, and ultra feminine. A wide sweep at the bottom, when worn with a chunky heel, you can add miles to your legs. We love them worn with tucked in blouses for a truly 70's inspiration, or with a blazer and tee shirt for a more laid back look. If your closet is full of skinnies, and you are looking for something fresh, I dare you to flare!

Coloured Yoga Jeans for Fall
